Favicon still missing

Save the theme after the upload completes. Confirm the intended square image is in Favicon, clear Grav cache and use a private tab. The public HTML icon link should return the uploaded image with image MIME type and a hash in its URL. An upload error or unwritable destination needs hosting-account permission repair.

Old theme or Typography remains

Confirm Zovanta Docs is active and the update files merged at the actual document root. Clear Grav’s cache and any hosting/CDN HTML cache. A second Grav installation or an extra enclosing extraction folder can leave the live files unchanged.

New article not searchable

Check Published/Visible on it and all ancestors. Access-controlled material is deliberately excluded. The live search request must succeed; a cached static fallback will not include a later edit. Clear Grav cache and report the failing request/status if needed.

Sidebar category will not stay open

Current ancestors open automatically on page navigation. Other state depends on browser storage; private/blocked storage may not retain choices. Expand all provides a quick fallback.

Restore the prior package

Restore the backed-up user/ files and clear cache. Keep a copy of any articles edited after that backup before replacing them.
