Work with the Bug Reports addon queue

Where: Admin → System → Reports → Bug Reports Admin

Before you start

This screen appears only while the Bug reports addon is active. The package is not supplied in every starter bundle. Status updates preserve a finished report; Delete destroys its discussion and cannot be undone. Thread replies notify its watchers; a private message does not post to the topic.

Step by step

  1. Install/enable the Bug reports package and choose its reporting forum in that package’s settings.
  2. Open a report number/title to read its details and screenshots.
  3. Set its status, Reply into the report’s thread, or Send a private message to its reporter.
  4. Delete only if you intend to remove the report, linked topic, every reply and collected attachments.

Confirm public status/thread replies and private-message delivery with test accounts.

Common questions and troubleshooting

Screen absent: check owning addon and licence/enablement. Tables missing: enable the addon then run the database upgrade. Report merely completed: use status instead of deletion.
