Organise blog categories
Where: Admin → Content → Blog → Blog categories
Before you start
A blog category is independent from a forum category and a download category. An icon image replaces the chosen glyph. The screen refuses deleting a category while it still contains posts.
Step by step
- Add Name and Description.
- Choose Colour, Icon name or upload an Icon image, and set Position.
- Save the category and select it in a blog post.
- Before deleting a category, move its posts to another category.

Entry fields

| Icon image | Upload a picture to draw instead of the glyph. Leave it empty for the glyph. Initial default: empty. |
| Position | Initial default: 0. |
Check the result
Open the blog and filter by the new category.
Common questions and troubleshooting
Delete refused: move posts out first. Icon missing: use an offered glyph or a supported uploaded image.
