Import, back up and restore address rules

Where: Tools → Bulk rule import / Rule backup / restore

Steps

1. Export current rules privately before a bulk change.
2. Upload/paste the supported format in the appropriate import form.
3. Review canonical addresses, effective duplicates, actions and errors.
4. For restore, inspect the parsed diff and confirm the expiring one-use session review.
5. If current rules or uploaded content changes, repeat review rather than replaying an old confirmation.
6. After apply, inspect the final rules and test a controlled address.

Check the result

Rule restore is reviewed and state-bound; ambiguous duplicate JSON names/unsupported fields are refused. A successful review does not itself write the rules.

If it does not work

Another preview/tab can replace the token. Invalid replacement input or changed state requires a fresh review. Do not merge unknown JSON keys by hand to bypass validation.
