Join clubs and manage membership

Steps

1. Join an open group or request membership in a closed group as an ordinary account.
2. As the group’s manager review join requests using the available member controls.
3. Use the private group’s invitation workflow for an intended account.
4. Review owner/moderator roles before granting management responsibility.
5. Test removal/leave using disposable membership and compare discussion access.

Check the result

Membership changes affect that club’s discussions and management; staff retains the package’s moderation role.

If it does not work

If a user still sees protected discussions, review whether they remain a club member/manager or forum staff. Do not confuse core role badges with club roles.
