Is Sentinel complete or production-certified?

No. Beta.75 implements many controls but retains explicit installed-board, MySQL/Redis, live-service, browser and load gates.

Can I use it instead of hosting/network protection?

No. Its hook protects application requests reaching PHP. It cannot absorb a network-level denial-of-service attack.

Why does my IP block fail when I test as admin?

Authenticated administrators bypass protection. Test with a separate ordinary session/address using a controlled recovery plan.

Will Turnstile or a crawler exemption undo a permanent block?

No. Existing base block/rate policy retains priority.

Is Redis required?

No. Retain SQL counting when the supported local service is unavailable. Primary is optional, defaults off and requires installed failure/concurrency verification.

Are addresses private data?

Raw IP addresses are stored in security events and can appear in protected exports. Handle retention and sharing according to your actual community policy.
