Organise Marketplace categories
Where: Admin → Marketplace → Marketplace categories
Before you start
Marketplace classification is separate from the resource’s Downloads/Marketplace discovery flags. This screen exists only with its owning package installed/enabled.
Step by step
- Create the category using the package’s category fields.
- Set display colour/icon/position and any public visibility choice.
- Save and file a test listing in it; move listings before removing a category.

Legacy core reference: the installed owning package can replace these declarations. Compare its live screen.
Entry fields

| Icon name | A name the board draws, such as store, or a Font Awesome 6 class string such as fa-solid fa-comments. Initial default: store. |

| Description | Enter the text for this entry. |
| Position | Initial default: 0. |
| Enabled | A disabled category keeps its listings and is hidden from the browse page and the listing form. Switching it back on restores it exactly as it was. Initial default: 1. |
| Address | Enter the displayed text. |
Check the result
Check with a separate seller/buyer account and compare recorded state with the provider.
Common questions and troubleshooting
Screen absent: its owning package may be absent, disabled or unlicensed. The supplied starter archive does not include every commercial package. Fields differ: follow the installed package’s declaration; legacy core definitions are not proof of that package’s version.
