Run the shared database upgrade
Where: Admin → System → Maintenance → System & upgrades
Before you start
The shared upgrade is designed to add missing schema idempotently. Package Manager normally completes this phase before reporting success; do not assume every file update needs a second manual run. Running it is not a substitute for a backup or an exact-baseline file update.
Step by step
- Back up before any upgrade.
- After a supported file replacement, compare installed and database versions.
- Use Run database upgrade when the screen says the database is behind.
- Read the result and return to the feature whose table/column was missing.

Check the result
Confirm the database version matches and the original schema notice is gone.
Common questions and troubleshooting
Still missing feature tables: check whether its owning addon is installed/enabled first. Upgrade fails: preserve the exact error and backup; do not edit the recorded version to hide it.
