Use and test Continue Reading links

Where: A rendered public page containing the supported Continue reading text

Steps

1. Enable Continue Reading — new tab through Add-ons.
2. Open a representative page using the normal shared forum footer.
3. Choose the matching Continue reading link.
4. Confirm a new browser tab opens and the original page remains.
5. Disable the addon, reload, and compare the original behaviour.

Check the result

The footer script progressively enhances matching links; it supplies no admin settings or member preference screen.

If it does not work

A custom page bypassing the shared footer or changing the link text/structure can miss the enhancement. Browser popup/tab policies can affect navigation. Do not expect it to manage reading progress or bookmarks.
