Install or upgrade Casefiles

Where: Admin → Appearance → Themes / Add-ons

Steps

1. Export any customised Casefiles style first and back up the board.
2. For a fresh installation import the recovered huntakiller-casefiles-v4.xml using Themes.
3. Install the 1.0.4 companion ZIP through Add-ons, with addon.json at its root, and enable it.
4. Open the companion Settings or the Casefiles mobile & footer settings shortcut from theme editing.
5. Activate Casefiles and check mobile drawers/footer.
6. For an existing installation, upgrade the same-key companion while preserving your edited theme unless you deliberately intend an XML replacement.

Check the result

The package replaces no core files. Options are stored separately from XML and can survive a same-identity addon upgrade.

If it does not work

If an old core-file patch was used, restore its files only from your known pre-patch backup through the supported core process; this addon does not undo unknown earlier modifications.
