Write and moderate blog posts
Where: Admin → Content → Blog → Blog posts
Before you start
Blog writing is staff-only in this build. The post editor and reader comments are separate permissions. Disabling comments hides comment threads and refuses new comments on all blog posts. A comment ban can match a username or email; lifting it restores eligibility but does not recreate deleted comments.
Step by step
- Create or open a blog post in the staff editor.
- Enter Title, Excerpt and Post body; choose Category, tags and cover image.
- Choose Status and save; publish only after review.
- Use Blog posts to edit, publish, unpublish or delete existing entries.
- Set Allow comments on blog posts and manage comment bans by username/email if required.

Use the Remove cover control to intentionally clear a stored cover; leaving the upload field empty is not the same as removing it.
Check the result
Open a published post as a guest and a member. Check comment availability, reactions, category navigation and cover.
Common questions and troubleshooting
Member cannot write a blog: staff-only is expected. Blog disappears: check Features. No comments: check global comment switch, account/group comment capability and comment bans.
