Settings reference
Open the addon’s Settings in Admin → Add-ons. Save changes before leaving. This table is generated from the supplied 1.0.0 manifest; its stored identifiers are included so support can identify a field precisely. Dedicated dashboard forms are documented separately.
Content
Threads per email
Identifier: max_threads. Type: number. Default: 12. Range: 1–25. Step: 1.
How many followed threads with new posts one digest may list. A long list is not read, so keep it short.
Quote the newest reply
Identifier: include_excerpt. Type: boolean. Default: Off.
Add a shortened line of the newest unread reply under each thread, so a member can judge whether it is worth opening.
Delivery
Send at
Identifier: send_hour. Type: select. Default: any.
When the digest lands. "Any hour" sends on the first check after the member's own daily or weekly interval is up, which is the built-in behaviour.
Choices: Any hour (as soon as the member's interval is up) (any); 06:00 UTC (6); 08:00 UTC (8); 12:00 UTC (12); 18:00 UTC (18); 21:00 UTC (21).
Include staff accounts
Identifier: include_staff. Type: boolean. Default: On.
Moderators and administrators can subscribe like anyone else. Turn this off to exclude them from digests entirely.
Branding
Subject prefix
Identifier: subject_prefix. Type: text. Default: ``.
Placed in front of the digest subject line, so members can file it with a rule.
Footer note
Identifier: footer_note. Type: textarea. Default: ``.
A line of house copy added under the thread list.
Verify and recover
Change one group of settings at a time and test as the intended audience, including a signed-out window where relevant. Keep the previous values with your backup. If saving fails, retain the error and reload the current stored values before retrying; do not assume an unchecked field was committed.
