Configure signed webhooks and operate the queue

Where: System → Webhooks and language

Steps

  1. Configure an authorised receiver and secret through the supported form. Review the destination before enabling.
  2. Keep the addon scheduler running; queue creation is distinct from HTTP delivery.
  3. Filter and inspect safe event details, then check receipt/deduplication at the receiver.
  4. Use reviewed retry only for an eligible failed valid event; it queues work rather than sending immediately.
  5. Use reviewed cancellation or terminal-history cleanup only after inspecting the affected records.

Check the result

Delivery is at least once. A stable event ID lets the receiver deduplicate. Cancellation cannot recall an HTTP request already in flight.

If it does not work

A retry can repeat an event the receiver accepted when its response was lost. Endpoint changes/age/attempt limits can refuse retries. Pending/sending records are preserved by terminal-history cleanup.
