Requirements

This manual covers PurpleZ 1.0.0-beta.4 and its matching editor, for the starter edition. It is a free theme/companion. The editor manifest declares >=1.0.0; confirm acceptance on the exact installed beta rather than treating that as a certification for every beta or the PHP port.

Use the core Theme XML importer plus native Add-ons importer, administrator access, writable local upload storage and GD/WebP support for uploaded PNG/JPG/WebP processing. The host’s upload limits can be lower than the editor’s 5 MB limit.

Back up/export existing theme customisations and core shared footer settings before changes. A fresh install uses both XML and editor; an existing install normally upgrades the editor while retaining customised XML.
