Subscribe to a digest and choose what it includes

Where: Member notification/digest preferences; Admin → Add-ons → Community digest

Steps

1. Have a test member follow a topic and choose a daily or weekly digest preference.
2. Set Threads per email and whether the newest reply excerpt should be included.
3. Choose whether staff accounts are eligible.
4. Add a new unread reply from another account.
5. Wait for/run the scheduled processing after the member interval becomes due.
6. Open the resulting email and verify its topic access as that member.

Check the result

Digests depend on followed topics with new activity, member preference and eligibility; enabling the addon does not subscribe everybody.

If it does not work

No eligible unread activity can legitimately yield no mail. Check subscription interval, staff exclusion and private-topic permission. Do not invent activity to disguise a mail failure.
