Create a club and choose its privacy

Where: Groups directory → create group

Steps

  1. Enable member-created groups if wanted and review the owner limit.
  2. Enter group title/description and choose its category.
  3. Choose Open, Closed or Private intentionally.
  4. Submit; if member groups require approval wait for moderator review.
  5. Open its direct URL as guest, a non-member and a joined member before posting sensitive content.

Check the result

Open groups have a public page and open joining; Closed groups have a public page and join requests but protected discussions; Private groups are invitation-only and not public.

If it does not work

Community clubs are not the core permission groups used to grant forum access. Creating a club does not automatically grant category posting privileges.
