Install, upgrade and enable collection

Where: Admin → Add-ons

Steps

  1. Back up the database and addon files. Upload the native Xstatics ZIP with addon.json at its root.
  2. Review/install or upgrade the existing forovanta-xstatics identity. Enable it with the normal licence workflow.
  3. Open Settings; collection is off by default. Select retention (7–365 days) and whether administrator public-page visits are included.
  4. Enable collection only after reviewing consent/privacy behaviour.
  5. Open System → Xstatics Dashboard, or addon-page.php?addon=forovanta-xstatics&view=overview relative to the board root.
  6. Make an eligible public visit with accept-all consent and at least one second of visible page time; refresh the report.

Check the result

The dashboard has Reports, Insights and Tools groups. Upgrading preserves the existing schema/state through the addon manager; it does not backfill visits.

If it does not work

Check native licence, addon enablement, installed tables, consent, DNT, admin-visit exclusion and blocked beacon requests. Do not disable consent just to inflate the result.
