Requirements

Use PHP 8.2 or later with PDO MySQL and a MySQL/MariaDB database. Confirm the installer’s environment checks before continuing. You need a database name, database username and password, web-hosting file access, and an HTTPS site address.

Use a dedicated database/user with permission to create and update this forum’s tables. Keep a backup of your files and database before upgrades. Choose the correct edition: these guides describe the starter installer; the modular PHP port has a separate package.
