Create compatibility presets
Where: Admin → Downloads → Compatibility presets
Before you start
Compatibility presets are descriptive metadata, not an automatic compatibility test. Do not mark an untested release as supported just because it appears in the picker.
Step by step
- Add the version/compatibility label shown by the form.
- Set its position and enabled state where offered.
- Save and select one or more presets in the resource composer.

Entry fields

| Label | What the picker shows, such as Forovanta 1.1.0 or PHP 8.2 or newer. Required. |
| Position | Initial default: 0. |
| Enabled | A disabled preset is hidden from the resource forms but is kept here, and any listing that already carries it is unchanged. Switch it back on to offer it again. Initial default: 1. |
Check the result
Create or edit a test resource and confirm the picker contains the saved choice.
Common questions and troubleshooting
Delete refused: move dependent resources first. Choice missing: confirm the record was saved and is offered/enabled.
